CLASSES:
- PUREBRED HEIFER --Born on or after September 1, 2011
- PUREBRED STEER
- COW-CALF-- calf born 1/1/13 to 5/1/13
- BULL CALF--Born on or after January 1, 2012
- PAIR OF FEMALES--owned by the same exhibitor
- GET OF SIRE--3 head (May be owned by more than one exhibitor)
- SHOWMANSHIP-- will be divided by age into four classes:
A: SENIORS--ages 16-21
B: JUNIORS--ages 12-15
C: BEGINNERS--ages 9-11
D: PEE WEE -age 8 and under
RULES:
ALL ANIMALS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE JUNIORS NAME. NO EXCEPTIONS! Calves can be jointly registered with siblings.
ALL EXHIBITORS showing must be current members of AJRPA.
All out of state cattle must have appropriate health papers.
Cattle must be on the fairgrounds by 9:00 pm Friday, June 21, 2013 and will be checked in as they arrive.
ENTRIES MUST BE POSTMARKED BY JUNE 1, 2013 (click to download) AND ACCOMPANIED BY ENTRY FEE OF $20.00 PER HEAD. SUBSTITUTIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL JUNE 10, 2013 WITH AN ADDITIONAL FEE OF $10.00 PER HEAD. LATE ENTRIES WILL BE $35.00/HEAD AND WILL BE ACCEPTED IF POSTMARKED ON OR BEFORE JUNE 10, 2013.
Cattle may arrive at the Guilford County Agriculture Center in Greensboro, NC beginning at 9:00 am Friday June 21, 2013. See the weekend schedule enclosed.
Bedding will be provided for stalls.
Jr. Herdsman award will again be presented for the most attractive stall decorations. Judging will be indiscreet.
