Notes:

We strive to breed moderate framed cows with well-shaped udders that give sufficient mild on grass or grass hay to wean a calf that is half of momma's weight at 7 months of age. We follow a program of recording weight gain performance and carcass quality through ultra-sound measurements and genetic testing of breeding stock. Our sale bulls are evaluated at a bull testing facility that feeds a high fiber/low energy ration so that they are pasture ready upon graduation. Our locker beef is finished on a controlled intake, high fiber ration and without hormones. These animals weight around 1200 pounds at 14 - 15 months of age, have a dressing percentage of 63 - 67%, and usually grade Choice.
